Good News, Bad News, and Little White Lies

Good News:

-I finally joined the millions of Americans who can remember things they’ve done and places they’ve been by purchasing a camera.  So my blog will quickly be supplemented with some attempts at amateur photography.

-I’m heading to camp this morning - a place that refocuses my energy, straightens my priorities, and imparts a general sense of calm and clarity.  Maybe its because I get paid simply to play guitar.  Let’s just say it’s a good life.  BONUS: new pictures will be from camp, so I will find some pretty spots for Kodak moments.

Bad News:

-I’m heading to camp this morning - and there’s a good chance that the blog falls by the wayside during the next few weeks.  But I’ve always wanted to keep a journal at camp, and this blog may be the single opportunity to document my experiences.  It may come down to how slow/old the camp computers are.

Little White Lies:

-I said that I would update the blog with all of my great times from Madison last week.  Oopsies (I think I promised too…)!  Let’s just say that a) college towns are still really fun; b)they are especially fun when you don’t have to attend class; c) I missed drinking the occasional lunchtime brew while working; d) buying classy champagne as a birthday gift for your girlfriend means you get to drink classy champagne too; and e) the Wisconsin Union terrace is the greatest place in the world. If you’ve never been to the terrace, it makes the entire trip to Wisconsin worthwhile.  Plus I know a gal who can take you sailing - any more questions, shoot me an email.
