So I’ve heard this said before in many classes, especially about elder teachers or teachers with accents: “Oh, but isn’t Professor So-and-So so cute?  He’s adorable!  How can anyone not like him?”  Well… Here’s how I judge my professors:  by their intelligence, and their ability to teach in the venue they’ve been assigned.  I could care less if my teacher was cute and cuddly, reminded me of a kind grandparent, or resembled one of the pandas from a Coca-Cola Christmas commercial.  Just the facts, I guess…. Exceptions: hot, recently-certified high school (science) teachers.
